Discourse was made in collaboration with the amazing Luke Ramsey of Islands Fold. During my one-week residency in Canada Luke and I spent a lot of time hanging out, listening to music, eating, hiking, playing disc golf, and drawing. We decided to make a comic about 3 kids ‘disc’overing disc golf. One of favorite projects to date. The entire book was drawn and designed on Pender Island, B.C. and screen printed and assembled in Baltimore, MD. Each book features a sliding text cover, a special 7″, and an awesome fold out. Discourse was short listed for ‘Artist Book of the Moment’ in 2010 by The Art Gallery of York University, Canada.
